The Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is dedicated to excellence in the education and training of doctors and medical professionals, as well as to excellence in medical research of all kinds. The mission of the FOHS is to educate medical professionals who consider patients holistically, within their familial, social and cultural contexts. This unique community-centered approach is evident in our applicant screening process, which is based on individual interviews, in student involvement in community health projects, and in the curriculums of our various schools and programs, emphasizing the bio-psycho-social approach.
Advanced world-class scientific research at the Faculty's research departments and centers, clinical divisions, and schools encompasses a broad range of topics and fields – from basic science to the clinical. The scope of activities at the FOHS encompasses medicine in the widest sense, characteristic of our comprehensive and humanistic understanding of sickness and health.

Parking
It is recommended to use navigation apps like Waze. If you are arriving by car please indicate in Waze :Faculty of Medicine , Ben Gurion Avenue, Beer Sheva.
You can park for a fee, either in Soroka Hospital parking lots on the main road or in HaShalom Parking lot.
There are number of private and public car parks in the area for a fee, however, in order to save time and parking costs, we recommend arriving by convenient public transportation.
Language
The official language of the conference is English.
Exhibition
A commercial and professional exhibition will be take place during the conference, parallel to the conference hours.

Israel time zone is Standard time zone: UTC/GMT +2 hours.
Visas
All visitors are required to have a valid passport, and for some countries, a visa is required. For more information please contact your nearest Embassy, Consulate or local travel agency well in advance. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
