1-day Group tour to Petra

07:30AM – Pick up from the hotel in Eilat by our representative and transfer to Arava border. After border procedures, drive to Petra in air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 2 hours). 

Meeting with your guide at the Visitor Centre, who will take you to Petra through the Siq, and introduce you to the highlights of the Nabatean city. Enter the city and discover the most astonishing and dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. View the amphitheatre, the tombs and facades and the colonnaded street. Enjoy some free time, ending at the entrance/ meeting point, and have lunch.

After lunch, drive back to Aqaba for an optional city tour then off to South border crossing and transfer to Eilat hotel.

4-hours Jeep Ride to Amram Pillars

Pick up from your Eilat Hotel and short drive to the Agama Nature Reserve, where a large number of Agama Tortuous have found refuge. Witness the large holes where they live, and, with some luck, you may even see giant lizards. Enter the Yedidya-Pass, famous for its ever-changing colors and landscapes, pass the Red Sand Dune and drive through the Shechoret Ravine. After an unforgettable drive through the majestic Amram Valley, surrounded by high cliffs, Step off the jeep for a short walk to the Peculiar, pink Pillars carved by water and wind in colorful sandstones. Continue driving through the flat Arava-valley and through the "Canyon of the Statues" so called after the many natural "statues" carved by the wind in soft sandstones. Back to your Eilat Hotel.

Pick up from your Eilat Hotel and short drive to the Timna Park, where you will see the most ancient   copper-mines in the world, 10,000 years old.

Learn and discover some astonishing facts about the ancient miners and their culture. The Timna Valley is also well known for its special structures carved by the wind in colorful sandstones, such as the "Arches", the "Mushroom" and, of course, the most famous "Salomon's Pillars".

View the man-made lake providing water to the wildlife, and acting as a rest place.

Depart Timna, to your Eilat Hotel passing by the flamingo pool, Ein evrona and the rare Dom palms.

4-hours Jeep Ride to the Red Canyon

Min 6-8 people = US$ 378 (US$ 63 per person), walking required (advanced)

Pick up from your  Eilat Hotel, and drive to the Red Canyon.

The Canyon's name comes from the dark red sand stone which you will see as you walk through sand, climb over boulders and pass through geographical formations, either climbing down metal ladders or sliding down smooth rock formations of dry waterfalls.

This is an adventure combining hiking and jeep safari. During our hike, you will enjoy a stop for traditional Bedouin style tea or coffee.

Return to Eilat Hotels with a spectacular view across the Red Sea.
