Abstract Submission

If I submit an abstract do I have to attend the Congress?
All accepted abstracts are scheduled in the Scientific Program either as Oral or Poster presentations. At least one author of the abstract should attend the meeting to present the work and answer questions. Only abstracts of registered participants will be scheduled in the Scientific Program.   After all abstracts have been reviewed by the Scientific Committee will notifications be sent to the abstract submitters .This process will be finalized within one month after the abstract submission deadline - Deadline for abstract submission: November 4th, 2013

Registration

How can I pay the registration fees?
Payment of registration fees can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

Can I receive an invoice under the sponsoring Company/ Hospital’s name?
Yes. If you require an invoice to be issued to the sponsoring company, please send an email to the registration department at  idss@ortra.com specifying the services requested and full address of the sponsoring company.

Can I register for the conference without paying?
Yes, but your registration will be confirmed only when full payment is received OR No. Please choose appropriate answer.

Can I register before the early fee deadline and pay later?
In order to benefit from the early fee registration discount, payment must be received before the deadline.

Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished registering?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to you by email as soon as payment is received and registration is completed.

How can I find out information about hotels and their rates?
ORTRA Ltd. is offering IDSS-2014 participants specially reduced rates for various hotels in Tel Aviv.

How can I book my room and should I pay in advance?
In order to book a room, please book online one of the hotels suggested of your choice http://www.idss-ep.com/RegistrationAccommodation/Accommodation.aspx At time of registration you will be charged a deposit for 2 night's stay at the chosen hotel. 2 weeks before your arrival date you will be charged the balance due for nights reserved. Will I receive a hotel confirmation?
Yes. A detailed confirmation will be sent to you by email as soon as the booking is confirmed and the requested deposit is received.

Can I book a hotel room without registering for the Congress?

How do I apply for a visa to visit Israel?
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Israeli Consulate/Embassy for full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedure that apply to you. 

Where can I get a Congress invitation letter so that I can apply for a visa?
Please send a request for an official invitation letter to idss@ortra.com Please make sure to send us your full name (as printed in your passport), full postal address and passport number. CME (Continuing Medical Education) Credits

Is the Congress CME accredited?
Once the Scientific Program has been finalized, an application for CME credits will be made. Traditionally we have CME appropriate for USA and European Physicians.

How can I claim my CME credits after the Congress?
Your CME/CPD (Continuing professional development) certificate will be delivered electronically after completing the educational evaluation and credit claiming procedure. The process will take 5-10 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of the CME/CPD accreditation process and helps improve future educational offerings. All evaluation responses are anonymous; your name will be requested for the credit claiming and certificate process only.
