INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS - INITIAL PAPER SUBMISSION

IEEE COMCAS makes use of an automated paper submission system that the authors are asked to follow. The following describes how authors should submit their initial paper.

Initial submissions must be made via the Web by use of the IEEE MTT’s Technical Program Management System (TPMS).  The COMCAS 2013 paper submission Web page is located at:
www.mtt-tpms.org/symposia_v6/COMCAS2013/start.html.

Note TPMS tracks submissions by paper, not author, so no personal registration is required at this point.

The paper must be submitted by May 5, 2013 and must be no longer than 5 pages including figures and references.  It can be in either MS Word or PDF format, for either US letter or A4 pages. The format of your paper should follow the IEEE MS Word template, which is available at:

At the TPMS submission site, follow the instructions to enter information items about the authors and the manuscript and then upload the manuscript.  Choose a topical area (there is a list of 32 topical areas) appropriate for your paper.  The list includes "other", but please try to fit your paper into one of the specific topical areas.  TPMS will display on the screen a Registration Key for each paper you submit.  Please safeguard this key (or keys) for later use.

Email from TPMS will inform you, by July 1, 2013, of the status of your submission (accept, accept with suggested revisions, accept with mandatory revisions with further review required, reject).  If accepted, you will have until August 1, 2013 to: a) revise your paper, b) resubmit it to TPMS for further review if that has been requested, and c) submit a final, IEEE Xplore®-ready paper to TPMS.  Instructions for submission of a final paper will be provided on this web page in June, 2013.
