In 2008 we will celebrate the 60th. Anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel.
This important historic event will be marked by an endless array of exciting cultural, artistic and educational activities. During this time we will also celebrate the 70th. Anniversary of the Union of Local Authorities in Israel.

It gives me great pleasure to extend to you a formal invitation to join us in our festivities by participating in the International Conference “SISTER CITIES AND MUNICIPAL ORGANIZATIONS” to be held in Jerusalem on 9-12 March, 2008.

The combination of a rich historical past and the needs of a growing modern city make Jerusalem an ideal location to learn together from past experiences and prepare to face the challenges of the 21st. century.
