Call for Abstracts
Authors wishing to present a paper or poster at the Conference are invited to submit an abstract electronically the Conference Secretariat, Ortra Ltd., via this website by July 31, 2005.

Please note that an online submission is required for submissions to be considered.
Sorry, POSTAL or FAX submissions will not be accepted!

Abstract Format and Guidelines

  1. File format should be either Microsoft Word (*.DOC) or Rich Text Format (*.RTF) only.
  2. Abstracts should be written in English to a maximum length of a one A4 page.
  3. Page Margins are 2.5 cm (1 inch) from each side.
  4. Abstract’s title should be centred, typed in CAPITAL LETTERS in 14 point in BOLD.
  5. Leave one line space and then list authors’ full names. Underline the name of the presenting author. In the next line you should list full affiliations of all authors.
  6. Leave two lines space and than begin the text, size 12, Times New Roman, single-spaced.

Additional Information For Proposal Submission:
  1. Presentations should be structured to allow audience participation, questions, and discussion (as appropriate).
  2. At least one presenter from each accepted contribution must register to the Conference in order to be included in the final program.
  3. Expenses for travel and attendance including registration fee, are the responsibility of each presenter.

Publications
All papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, which will be distributed among the participants at the beginning of the Conference. No copyrights are requested at this stage. Papers will not go through a review process and therefore the contents are the responsibility of the authors.

Only selected papers will be reviewed after the conference and will be published in special issues of the following peer-reviewed journals:
1. Granular Matter
2. Particle & Particle Systems Characterisation
3. Particulate Science and Technology

Language
The official language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous translations will not be provided.

Proposals for Schedule and Deadlines
Until November 30, 2005 Online Submission of Abstracts
December 31, 2005 Authors will be notified on paper acceptance. Instructions for writing the full length of papers will be sent to the authors.
May 1, 2006 Full-length manuscripts need to be received by the Conference Secretariat.
August 27, 2006 Opening of the Conference.
