CALL FOR PAPERS |
The Symposium invites oral
presentations, posters and demonstrations. The Scientific Committee in
particular invites demonstrations which show that computers are becoming
an integrated part of the clinical environment. Abstracts
should be submitted no later than June 1, 2000 to the chairman of the
scientific committee: Abstracts will be photographically reproduced
in reduced format in the journal Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolism. The
abstracts must be typed in 12 point font, single line spacing, in Times or
equivalent font. The title of the abstract (14 point, bold font) must be
followed by the list of authors (12 point), followed by the list of
affiliations of the authors (12 point). The abstract must be typed across
(landscape) a sheet of paper within margins 22.8 cm wide and 14 cm high.
The abstract should not contain references and may contain one figure or
table if deemed absolutely necessary by the authors. The abstract will
typically contain 400 words. Note that due to the reduction in the
photographic reproduction, legends on figures must not be written in font
smaller than 12 point. The abstract sheet should also contain an
indication of the form of presentation preferred by the authors (oral,
