CONFERENCE
AIM:
To bring together scientists in the field of Vertebrate Pest Management
from Europe and beyond, to exchange information on problems, research
and solutions; to provide opportunities for collaboration and
to ensure that management techniques employed are effective, humane,
environmentally safe and conform with European legislation.
LATE CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors are requested to forward the title of their paper and
submit a 200 word (1 page) abstract, as per attached sample, to
the Conference Secretariat, for review by the Program Committee
as specified below. Please indicate the appropriate session for
your paper (if you find one in the list of Topics). Use the enclosed
abstract sample as a guideline for preparation of your abstract.
Authors have an option to publish their articles in peer-reviewed
proceedings. Those who are interested should provide their manuscript
at the Conference.

ACCEPTANCE
OF ABSTRACTS
The Program Committee will make final decisions on the acceptance
of abstracts by July 10, 2001. The authors' preference of oral
or poster presentation will be taken into an account but the organizers
reserve the right to designate papers either as oral or poster
presentation.
Deadline for Submission of abstracts - June 30, 2001.
Please conform to the following guidelines:
Abstracts
should be written in English.
Authors
are requested to send their abstract preferably by E-Mail to VERT@ortra.co.il
as a WORD ATTACHMENT, or mail their abstracts on a diskette in
WORD FORMAT to reach the Conference Secretariat together with
4 original copies. Material should be sent by Airmail in a padded
envelope marked "DO NOT FOLD".
Typed
single- space in Times New Roman font in 12 point.
In
an area of 15x23 cm (6x9 inches) on a single A4 size page.
The
title should be typed in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS in 14 point,
justified to the left hand side. Leave one line empty and then
type authors' names, affiliations and addresses.
Authors
are to be listed by first name or initial, followed by family
name. Underline the name of the presenting author, then
leave two lines empty and begin the text of the abstract.
