Exhibition
A trade exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Conference manufacturers and suppliers of vertebrate pest control materials and services. Pest management companies and pest management materials manufacturers are invited to take part in the exhibition.

Travel To Israel
The best way to travel to Israel is by air. There are regular flights from most major cities in Europe, North America and the Far East to Tel Aviv, Ben-Gurion International Airport. Direct flights are also available from major European destinations. Israel can also be reached by land from Egypt and Jordan.

Visas
Participants from most countries do not require a visa to Israel. Ortra or other travel agencies can provide you with current information. Individuals from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel should write immediately to the Secretariat, giving the following details: full name, date and place of birth, passport number and date of issue, time of arrival and flight number. The Secretariat will arrange for a visa to be issued at the airport upon arrival.

Language
The official language of the Conference will be English (including lectures and printed material).

Climate & Clothing
September is one of the most pleasant months in Israel. Temperatures at this time of year range between 28°C midday to 18°C in the evening. Dress will be informal throughout the Conference. No rain is expected. A light jacket is recommended for the evening.

Currency
The unit of currency in Israel is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS), commonly known as the Shekel.
The Shekel consists of 100 Agorot, NIS4.20=US$1 (As of April 2001).
