Conference Venue - Hilton Sorrento Hotel (5 Star)
The Conference will take place in Sorrento (Naples), Italy at the Hilton Sorrento Hotel. The Hotel is located only minutes from the bustling historical town of Sorrento and offers luxurious rooms and a wide range of facilities for the convenience of its guests: swimming pools, tennis court, fitness centre, business lounge, restaurants and shops.

Other Hotels
Hotel Villa Maria (3 Star) – Situated in Sorrento city center and only 5 minutes walk from the conference venue. All rooms have balconies and are equipped with showers, small TV, small refrigerator, and air-conditioner. The hotel has swimming pool and bar.

Hotel Rivage (3 Star) – Located in the center of Sorrento overlooking the gulf of Naples and only 7 minutes walk from the conference venue. All rooms have air-conditioner, shower (no bath) and small TV. Sea view or garden view are available. The hotel does not have a swimming pool.Hotel

Leone (3 Star) – Only a few steps from the centre of Sorrento and within a short distance from the conference venue (3 minutes walk). Rooms equipped with shower (no bath), small TV and air-conditioning. The hotel does not have a swimming pool.

Social Program
Complementary attendance of evening and social events is included within registration. Additional activities for accompanying persons and pre-and post-conference tours are offered.

An exhibition of relevant equipment and professional literature (books and journals) will accompany the Conference. Companies, manufacturers and publishers who are interested, are requested to contact the Conference Secretariat, Ortra Ltd. for further information.

Language
The official language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous translations will not be provided.

Climate and Clothing
Temperatures in Sorrento rage in August between 68-84°F (20-29°C). It is recommended to bring a light jacket for the evenings. Dress will be informal throughout the Conference.

Visas
Participants from most countries do not require a visa to Italy, however it is recommended to check this with the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country.

Currency
The unit of currency in Italy is Euro. US$ 1 = € 0.83 (as of April 2006). Most international credit cards are accepted.
