Capital of the Dodecanese, the southernmost string of Greek islands,

are available to the participants at special reduced symposium rates
when booked through Ortra Ltd., the Symposium Secretariat.
Language
The Symposium official language is English, including lectures and
printed material.

Climate and Clothing
Rhodes boasts a wonderful climate with year-round sunshine and warm
summer winds. Average temperature in October is 21°C. No rain
is expected. Warm clothes are recommended for evenings and tours.
Dress will be informal throughout the Symposium.

The unit of currency in Greece is the Euro. US$1 = €0.80; €1
= US$1.20 (as of May 2004). There are no restrictions on transfer
and use of foreign currencies in Greece. Most international credit
cards are accepted.
