The city is home to glistening shores and desert plains, filled with a variety of hotels, restaurants, and unique attractions. Eilat is a paradise for water sports fans - diving, water skiing, parasailing and swimming with world-class facilities and world-renowned diving venues. The surrounding desert has much to offer and is filled with archaeological and historical sites. You can rent a jeep or even rent a camel to enjoy the hills and mountains the envelope the city.
Venture south of the city and visit the Coral Reserve with its collection of splendid tropical fish and natural reefs. Visit the Underwater Observatory with its marine museum and collection of fascinating sea animals. For a unique experience, stop by the acclaimed Dolphin Reef and learn to swim with the dolphins! Eilat's many and varied restaurants, cafes, pubs and nightclubs are sure to please. Enjoy colourful shops and open air markets along the promenade that stretches along the city's northern shoreline.
