Flights

The best way to travel to Israel is by air. There are regular direct flights from major cities in Europe and North America, as well as from a number of Asian cities to Tel Aviv, Ben-Gurion International Airport.

Transfers to the Weizmann Institute of Science on March 30th

From Meeting hotels in Tel Aviv to the Weizmann Institute of Science at 7:30-8:00 (shuttle route to be advised).         
 
From Ben Gurion Airport, please arrive directly to the Weizmann Institute of Science, either by train or taxi.
As the train is not direct, it is highly recommended to take a taxi.
Doors will open at the Lopatie Conference Centre at 7:30.
Depending on the number of interested participants, a shuttle will be arranged from the airport to the Weizmann Institute of Science at 7:30.
Kindly note that a minimum of 10 people is required to operate the service.

 

From the Weizmann Institute of Science to Ein Gedi Hotel

Buses to Ein Gedi will depart from Weizmann Institute at 14:30.

For early arrivals - from Ben Gurion Airport to Tel Aviv

By taxi

Taxis to Tel Aviv are available at a cost of approx. 160-170 NIS (approx. US $45-50). Taxis can be found outside the Arrivals Hall at Ben Gurion Airport (Level G). Depending on traffic, the journey should take between 30 to 45 minutes.

By train

The train station in Ben Gurion Airport is located on Level S. Tickets may be purchased through automated dispensers on Level G. We recommend disembarking the train at Tel Aviv Center - Savidor, and from there taking a taxi to your hotel.

Airport Assistance

In addition to the on-demand taxi service available at the airport, special airport transfers are also available on a prearranged basis.

The Conference Secretariat will arrange upon request, private transfers from the airport to the selected conference hotels for a fee (up to 2 people) including airport assistance right after passport control, escorted through luggage pickup area and transfer to the selected hotel. Participants who book these services should notify the Conference Secretariat of their arrival details no later than one week prior to arrival and they will be met at the airport by Ortra representative. Rate: NIS 380.

Transfers from Ein Gedi on April 3rd:

Buses to the Jerusalem tour will depart at 11:00.

Transfers from Jerusalem on April 3rd:

Buses to the Airport will depart at 18:00 (at the end of the tour).
Driving distance is approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic.

Shuttles to Tel Aviv and Rehovot will be arranged depending on the number of interested participants.
