In a continuing effort to identify all the standards and related activity of the IEEE EMC Society, the VP for Standards is holding an open house at the Istanbul symposium. The agenda will include demonstrating the IEEE Standards and EMC Society Standards web site and the information available there on the standards development process. A review of “StandardsAsia” and “StandardsEurope” websites will also be highlighted as they address the regions of the world of most participants in the Istanbul symposium. Following the web site review, the three standards committees of the Society will briefly describe their scope and the opportunities to join in these activities. These committees include the Standards Development Committee, the Standards Education and Training Committee, and the Standards Advisory and Coordination Committee. Time will be set aside for the attendees to ask questions and to find out how they can participate, which is generally by electronic means.
