09:30 Half day tour to Polis - Baths of Aphrodite
Drive to the 12th century monastery of Ayios Neophytos with its fascinating frescoes. Then driving along roads lined with vineyards, the small town of Polis and the fishing shelter of Latsi, we arrive at the peninsula of Akamas, where the baths of Aphrodite are located. Here at this idyllic spot of unspoiled beauty the legend says that the Goddess Aphrodite used to bathe and refresh herself in the pool shaded by a fig tree. On the way back we drive through Kathikas and Peyia villages to return to the hotel.
