Venue
The Elysium Beach Resort is a five star deluxe hotel
with an Aveda Concept Spa, which offers leisure and business visitors
a relaxing and stimulating holiday in a peaceful and secluded environment.
The Elysium enjoys uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean Sea and
has been sensitively designed in palatial style primarily influenced
by the Byzantine era.
The Organizing Committee has reserved rooms at the Symposium venue,
which will be offered to the participants at special reduced rates
when booked via the Symposium Secretariat, Ortra Ltd.
Language
The official language of the Symposium is English.
Travel 
Cyprus Airways has been appointed as the official airline for
the Symposium. Delegates and accompanying persons will be offered
special discount fares if the flight reservations are made directly
through any Cyprus Airways office.

Climate and Clothing
Cyprus enjoys a Mediterranean climate with sunshine year round.
Average temperatures in Paphos in November range between 15 - 25°C
(59 - 77 °F). Dress will be informal throughout the Symposium.
Visas
Participants from most countries do not require visa to Cyprus.
Individuals from countries without diplomatic relations with Cyprus
should contact the nearest Cypriot Consulate or ask their travel
agent.
Currency and Credit Cards
The currency is the Cyprus pound, C£, which is divided into
100 cents.
Current exchange rate is C£1 = €1.75 (as of March 15,
2005).
Major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and
shops.
Electricity
Current supply in Cyprus is 240 volts, a.c. 50Hz. Sockets are usually
square pin.
