CAESAREA / ZIKHRON YAAKOV / HAIFA

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you will be met by an Ortra representative before transferring to

your hotel.

Dinner in a fine local restaurant or at your hotel

Overnight at your hotel in Tel Aviv

After breakfast, we will drive north along the coast to scenic

Caesarea

, once the Roman capital of

the Holy Land. Here we’ll explore its excavated

Roman harbor

, amphitheater and Crusader fortress.

We continue on to

Zikhron

Yaakov, which offeres two highly enjoyable features: wine and tranquility.

The Moshava’s founding farmers cultivated vineyards and the large winery built here in 1889 became

the area’s most important industry. Visit

Carmel Winery

, which is Israel’s historic vineyard and winery.

It was founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, owner of Château Lafite in Bordeaux.

Carmel owns the two largest wineries in Israel.

Cellar tour and wine tasting

Lunch at a restaurant on the way

In the afternoon the tour will continue to Lower Galilee, with a stop in Haifa , the largest harbor in
